We arrived in Saint-Pierre by ferry and walked to the hotel. We, two couples, had been traveling in Newfoundland for 4 weeks when we made our short visit to France. This hotel was the highlight. The minute we arrived at the hotel, we felt we were in a boutique Parisian hotel. Patricia greeted us and instantly made us feel at home. Our rooms were stunningly decorated, with style and understatement. The dinner recommendation was excellent, directing us to a restaurant that matched all of our expectations. Food and service were exceptional. Back to the hotel, our comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast the next morning. My husband thought he had returned to his favorite Paris bakery with the butter croissant he enjoyed. The staff was helpful. We were sad to leave this beautifully redone hotel.
